Valentine’s Day date ideas in Perth 2023: Fringe World, Planet Royale, Ellington Jazz Club and more

Stuffed teddy bears with heart eyes are in supermarket aisles and red roses by the bucketload fill the windows of florists.

The most romantic time of the year is upon us — but Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to mean sickly sweet gifts and cookie-cutter dinners.

With demand for events on February 14 only growing, there are plenty of opportunities for unique dates around Perth to give the apple of your eye a special experience.

Regardless of whether you’re celebrating romantic or platonic love — or heading out on a first-time Tinder date — here are some memorable ways to spend V Day.

DRAW A MUSE

A life drawing class can be a humbling experience or a way to uncover a hidden talent — but either way it’s a whole lot of fun.

Charcoal and Champagne is hosting two unique V Day pop-ups, where guests will be guided by creativity coach Aneta Wnek in sketching a live nude model in a relaxed and light-hearted atmosphere.

All materials are provided, and no experience is required. The event at Clarences Company Store on February 12 includes a glass of sparkling and grazing platter, while the session at the Subiaco Hotel on February 14 comes with a refreshing cocktail.

Tickets are from $69 via charcoalandchampagne.com.au.
